she PRETTY MUCH NEVER COMPLAINS ONCE THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE SERIES i don’t think even as a child she complained and when she was first introduced, i was rEALLY IMPRESSED BY HER!!! Like when jabu came to like protect saori or some shit from seiya she’s just like STEP ASIDE JABU, LET HIM DO WHAT HE WANTS. she wasn’t some sassy ass princess which i was super grateful for.
and then comes when she meets her grandpa… mr. kido or whatever his name was i doN’T EVEN REMEMBER BECAUSE ALL I REMEMBER IS SAORI anyways wow even after see his ghost n shyt in that observatory she wan’t like super emotional like “NOOOOO CRIES ONTO THE GROUND DON’T LEAVE ME” and she just handles it really well.
and then when time comes when she realizes that she’s athena A GODDESS AND HER PA’S WISE WORDS “YOU HAVE TO MAKE THEM FIGHT FOR YOU” OR SOMETHING I DON’T KNOW she like…. steps up as a goddess and i think even when saint seiya started she wasn’t never a snob anyways. maybe only when she was a kid in flashbacks which i understand because…. riCH KIDS OK. by the time saint seiya has started she’s already a grown woman (or is she actually in her teens? idgaf) and really mature and shit SHE WAS RAISED WELL, YA. and well anyways when she like… she like realizes her ~*DESTINY*~ as a goddess and she also protected her beloved saints near the beginning i know that much… and she tried her hardest to protect that one sagittarius helmet!! EVEN WILLING TO GIVE IT UP BECAUSE HER LITTLE SAINTS WERE INT ROUBLE i was like wow wow she didn’t even stutter or look away with thought she just looks straight at them in the eye while coming to her decision to value peoples’ lives more yah
ok sanctuary arc like fucking… like… what the FUCK I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO SAY OTHER THAN SHE IS SO DAMN WONDERFUL WHAT THE FUCK. ok well wow even as she was dead on the floor she encouraged her little saints to not give up and keep going it wasn’t even like GET BACK UP TO SAVE ME she actually believed in her saints and didn’t want them to die and she knew they could do better, and yah she didnt even complain once while on da floor dead. (i feel like someone has said this before) and then like wow she doesn’t even antagonize saga when everything’s all over and like EVERYONE CAN FEEL ATHENA’S KIND COSMO AND SAGA IS JUST LIKE SUFFERING AND SAORI JUST FoRGIVES him likE SHE KNOWS HIS PAIN AND EVERYTHING GHUHG brb holding tears. k anyways wow she even likke… lets saga kill her or something i forgot bUT WOW WAIT MY FEELINGS ARE POURING OUT HOLD ON… cooling… down…. ok… yes… and like saori told everyone to stay back and she like approached saga by herself and wOW SHE CAN HANDLE THIS SHIT, OK.
and well the rest of the arcs she’s just sacrificing herself for the entire world, basically. enduring lots of shyt and BASICALLY HOLDING UP A FUCKING CASTLE WHILE her saints do their jobs because she believes in them, yes.
ok in the hades arc she’s just like MORE AWESOME AGAIN??????? like she tells her little bronzies not to come to sanctuary because she doeesn’t want to involve them because she loves them so much like gosh, how great can you get. and like when shaka dies she can read his message and understand what the fuck it means and she like… lets saga kill her with hiS OWN DAGGER LIKE WOWOWOJAWhAWHAW OK WAIT HOLD ON!!!! …deep breathing… my kokoro…. ok… i’m good now. and anyways, while she’s in hell or whatever she’s not getting herself into some deep shit, until comes time to confront hades u_U oh my god i just remembered that shaka threw the spear at hades instead of athena and like… fucking athena caught it with her fucking hANDS HOW FUCKING BADASS IS THAT I WAS LIKE SHIT YOU DON’T MESS WITH ATHENA, YOU BETTER LISTEN TO HER, BOY.
skip to all the way when she’s out of her yar because she’s a badass, she finally gets her cloth and man she looks so damn holy with it HAHA and she… briefly exchanged blows with hades, but damn at least she could fight for herself, she hasn’t been trained in fighting or anything, and it’s not like she has a convenient weapon to fight with (i mean… staff vs sword…) and she fucking wow when tthey were leaving elysium, she was like so sad for seiya and i THINK SHE EVEN PRINCESS CARRIED HIM???? or maybe that was the movie, idc she held onto him me thinks. and she took everyone outtie because well of course she would DUH HER SAINTS
ok and well in the movie idk if it’s like ~*CANON*~ i’m kinda… assuming it is, but she like… gives the earth to her sister for the sake of everyone and told them not to harm her saints (even though they do anyways, but given they were looking for a fight anyways…) and when seiya comes to the god realm and stuff she like… STABS HIM BUT REALLY IT WAS TO HELP HIM RECOVER FROM WOUNDS INFLICTED BY HADES and basically fights back against the gods because SHE BERIEVES IN HER SAINTS AND THE HUMAN HEART LIKE OGDOADGODG SAORI HELP STOP
ok and basically evertyhing about her is perfect i don’t even know how people could possibly complain??? LIKE I DON’T SEE ANY OPPORTUNITY TO COMPLAIN BECAUSE SHE’S PERFECT??? SHE’S NOT WHINY AND SHE’S KIND AND SHE DOESN’T SPEAK EXCESSIVELY LIKE “I UNDERSTAND YOUR WOES, SO PLEASE DON’T CRY” she just peaks through actions like *gives dagger to saga to kill her* likE WOW WWOWOWOWOWOW SHE JUST FUCKING KNOWS ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!! you don’t need to explain no shit to her, she’s real smart. and she doens’t look away from people because damn she’s the boss, she isn’t ever nervous she’s like STARES INTO YOUR SOUL, I AM NOT GIVING UP!!!!! i’m sure i am missing some other parts, i don’t know about her apparent bad qualities since her good qualities are just SO OVERWHELMING.
